We Have Dinosaur Tracks

 

The Natural Area is home to the only known dinosaur footprints on public land in Bexar County. The 110-million-year-old tracks are believed to have been left by Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon dinosaurs.

The Natural Area now allows camping on Fridays and Saturdays. There are regular walk-in (50-60 yards) campsites as well as two group walk-in campsites that allow up to 16 people per site.

*The protected Habitat Area trails close annually from March 1st - August 31st.  All other trails are open year-round.
